Sarah Kearney, LCSW, received her masters at Silberman School of Social Work, Hunter College, in New York City. She specialized in Global Social Work and Practice with Immigrants & Refugees. She worked with refugees and asylum seekers with various organizations including Sojourners Detention Center Visitation Program and Safe Passage Project at the New York Law School. She has also worked with incarcerated women at Riker's Island and in public schools in Boston and New York.
Her international experience includes her work at the L'Arche community in Kampala, Uganda, at Fireflies intercultural community in Bangalore, India and in an orphanage in Quito, Ecuador.
